About

“What is that guy on the surfboard doing??” In 2008 Lucija (California) and Samir (Sarajevo) became fascinated watching surfers with paddles while visiting Kahalu’u Bay on The Big Island of Hawaii and returned two years later to learn the flat-water version.

Years later, in 2015, Lucija earned a Flatwater Level 1 Instructor’s certification from The Professional Stand Up Paddle Association (PSUPA)—she is the first in Croatia—and is known to share her “stoke” for SUP.

Before relocating to Croatia, Lucija and Samir were involved in the Northern California SUP community for many years enjoying local bays, lakes, and rivers. They’ve also paddled on The Big Island of Hawaii, Maui, Mexico, Sydney, and Fiji and believe the Adriatic Sea offers a magical SUP experience.
